About Standing In The Gap
Missionaries to the Navajo People
I was raised in Many Farms, Arizona, and accepted Christ as my Savior at the age of 25. Two years later, I surrendered to the Lord’s call to preach and went on to serve as a Sunday school teacher at New Hope Baptist Church in Chinle, Arizona.
In 2019, I accepted the pastorate at Calvary Baptist Church. I currently reside in Cornfields, Arizona, with my wife, Tanya, and our three children—two daughters and a son. My educational journey includes graduating from Penn Foster High School and earning a Bachelor of Theology from Gloryland Bible Institute in 2019. I later earned my Master of Theology in 2021 and a Doctor of Theology in 2022 from Charity Baptist Bible Institute.
In 2025, the Lord laid a heavy burden on my heart to reach the people of the Navajo Reservation. This April 28, 2026, I officially surrendered to serve as a missionary to the Navajo people. My family and I are actively engaged in mission work across the Reservation, reaching out through tract distribution, door-knocking, and street preaching at local events like the Navajo Nation Parade.
The Navajo people need the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Bible tells us in Proverbs 29:18, “where there is no vision, the people perish.” We have a clear vision for our people: to reach the lost, establish a local church, and train young men to become the next generation of preachers.
Our Mission
The Navajo people need the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Bible tells us in Proverbs 29:18, "where there is no vision, the people perish." We have a clear vision for our people:
Reach the Lost
Faithfully proclaiming the Gospel across the Navajo Reservation through personal soulwinning, tract distribution, street preaching, and community outreach efforts.
Establish a Local Church
Planting a sound, Bible-believing local church where families can worship, serve together and grow in the Lord spiritually.
Train Young Men
Discipling and equipping young Navajo men through biblical teaching and ministry involvement to become future pastors and preachers.
